Do you need a business speaker for your next event?


We have developed an entertaining and informative presentation entitled, “Preparing your business for sale.”


We deliver a presentation that is of interest to all stages of business from small start-ups to large mature businesses.  Business people, self-employed persons, business owners and others who may be thinking of starting their own business will all have something to take away from this presentation. (It is not a sales pitch for products or services.)


After over 20 years of experience in financial services, in particular, as an insurance broker serving the small business market we have learned that many business owners are not properly prepared to sell their businesses. After bearing witness to this, we felt it was important to help our clients navigate this life changing event.


During this presentation we will outline an exit and transition planning process we have developed that has helped many prepare both mentally and financially to sell their businesses and fund a full and meaningful retirement.


I don’t want to give too much away but during our high-level presentation we touch on the following:


  • Can your business be sold?
  • Are you ready to sell?
  • What’s your business worth?
  • Qualifying buyers
  • Negotiating the deal
